Twenty-one years ago I realized my dream of building a bank (The Bank of Bloomfield Hills, now known as The PrivateBank) dedicated to providing clients with unparalleled service and financial services personalized to suit their needs. As Michigan's only independent relationship bank we helped introduce the relationship banking concept to many individuals and businesses, most of whom still bank with us today. The organization was built on common sense and personal service, and along the way, we established ourselves as the premier relationship bank in southeast Michigan.
After 19 years with The PrivateBank, I left and joined First Michigan Bank. Why did I do it? The answer is no mystery to those who know me. I love interacting with clients, listening to their stories, responding to their questions, and addressing their needs. However, in my former post, I found myself spending more time on administrative duties and less time interacting with my clients. In short, I found myself doing less of what I love most.
So, I made a move, and six of my key managers followed. Now, with a talented and dedicated staff by my side, we are geared up to once again build a bank dedicated to servicing our clients.
Our goals at First Michigan Bank remain the same as the day I opened my first relationship bank and that is, to focus on providing you with highly personalized service and act as your key financial consultant as you strive to preserve and enhance your wealth.
